Shakespeare Event was a Success in Brookside Park!
Islip Arts Council, in collaboration with Great South Bay Audubon Society, hosted Shakespeare in the Park on August 27.
Over 100 people attended on the great lawn at Brookside County Park, celebrating a return to cultural arts. The treescape formed a natural theater in the round.
On behalf of both Great South Bay Audubon Society and Islip Arts Council, thank you to Suffolk County for stewardship of the park and cultural grant funding.
Bird Trip
An unusually small group was gifted with stellar autumn weather and a nice array of birds at the Suffolk Farm and Education Center on November 2nd.
